High Temperature Capacitive Sensors

Balluff capacitive sensors are suitable for object detection in high temperatures up 480°F (250°C). Applications include adhesive dispensing, hydraulic / lubrication systems, and heat treatment processes.

Sensing heads are made of stainless steel with PTFE sensing faces. To operate properly at such elevated temperatures, these sensors require an additional noise-immune shielded Triax cable ( BCC Z003-020 ) in conjunction with an amplifier, which offers convenient remote adjustment.
